Discover the secret and the magical world of vivid colours through Encaustic Wax Art blending vivid colours of Bees Wax on a small hot Iron. Be captivated into a world of your creativity, explore and create unique Art pieces throughout the Workshop with direction from Artist Veronica Skipworth.
No art experience needed. Allow Veronica to direct you through this incredible ancient Artform to create paintings with small blocks of vivid Bees Wax colours. The love of colour and discovering what can be created with only a few choices when Veronica encourages the participants to discover the Secrets of Encaustic Wax Art and the basic techniques in how to use the specialised hot Iron and Stylus to discover & learn a new Artform and create paintings to keep forever.
Since Veronica was introduced into the unique form of Encaustic Wax Art in 2009, she has created incredible landscapes and abstracts on gloss surfaces on gloss surfaces and want to share with you the designs from your imagination and scanning within the painting seeing the different objects.
The Workshop is 2 hours long with sessions throughout SALT Festival and is for all ages from 8 years old.
