Join ARIA Award-winning songwriter Jodi Martin, from South Australia’s west coast, for a magical journey into the craft of storytelling through songs. Known for her heartfelt country-folk style, Jodi's been following her dreams, honing her craft since age 3 and holds a BA in Contemporary Music Composition (SCU). Mentored by legends like Pat Pattison (Berkeley University), Arlo Guthrie, and Grammy-winner Steve Leslie, Jodi brings 25+ years of touring and songwriting expertise. She’s guided aspiring songwriters across Australia, helping create classics like ‘Malpa Wiru,’ ‘Ocean in My Soul’ and ‘Doing What I Love.’
Fresh off tours with her radio hits Country Mile and Tommy the Toyota, Jodi shares the stories behind her songs and reveals tools like sense-bound writing, structure, and metaphor to transform good songs into goosebumps. Whether you’re a beginner or advanced, Jodi’s passion will inspire you with fresh ideas, a fresh perspective, and the courage to honour the creator you are!
