Water Way Tales

Songs and Stories of South Australia's Sail Trading Heritage

Saturday | 4pm | Nautilus Arts Centre

Step aboard with Captain Salty and Mrs Captain, and travel back in time on a coastal trading ketch, for a unique 60-minute journey of songs, stories, and historic anecdotes for a glimpse into South Australia's maritime heritage. Between the Captain's songs and Mrs Captain's stories you'll hear about life at sea on the mosquito fleet, some of SA's dramatic shipwrecks, and the sealing settlement of Kangaroo Island, all delivered with a good dose of humour and nostalgia for the romance of the days of sail.
