Any colour You Like' is a solo dance performance exploring Pink Floyd's renowned Dark Side of the Moon album, translating the bridge of sound to motion. Just like the album itself having no distinct explanation, the audience may be left simmering on their own ideas once consuming the experience. After years of ploughing through the album for a deeper meaning of the human experience, themes such as mortality, the delicate balance of the sun and moon and the emphasis of requiring darkness to understand light emerge. The sounds and subjects wake this innate reaction in the body, actualised through performance art, create an visceral environment for audiences to spiral into existential, deep questioning.
